Spelling

We use the ‘Super Spelling Scheme at Fulfen.  Your child will bring home a booklet with spellings individually chosen to be at the correct challenge for your child.  Usually, children will be learning 5 or 10 spellings at a time and will be tested on them within a two week period. It is vitally important that your child brings in their spelling booklet every day as spelling tests will happen throughout the week. Please support your child by helping them to learn their spellings. Please see the parent booklet for more information.

In addition to the Super Spelling scheme, we also teach spelling rule lessons in class and give children ample opportunity to embed their learning from these lessons.
