School Dinners

Fulfen are fortunate to have kitchen staff who take great pride and enjoyment in ensuring children have access to a healthy lunch every day.

They are always happy to provide a variety of healthy meal choices to ensure our pupils are able to concentrate on the challenges of the afternoon and not a grumbling tummy!  We source produce from local providers wherever possible to ensure that children receive high quality home-cooked food.

Dinners are ordered on ParentPay and, each morning, children will be given a coloured sticker to reflect their meal choice.  Find our latest menus at the bottom of this page.

There is always a choice of main item plus a selection of vegetables, as much as they like from the salad bar and a choice of pudding. There is also always a selection of fruit available. Sandwiches and jacket potatoes are available daily with a choice of fillings plus a choice of anything from the salad bar or from the selection of vegetables on offer (e.g. on chip day they could even have a sandwich and chips!). Drinks are provided on the tables for all the children.

Children from Reception to the end of Year 2 are entitle to Universal Free School Meals.  This means that you will not have to pay any money for the school dinners during this period. This is a potential saving of  around £400 plus per year!
