What is your favourite book and why?

I love reading.  When I was younger, my favourite book was The Magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton.  Now, I really enjoy discovering new books with my class - one of my recent favourites is Letters from the Lighthouse by Emma Carroll.  

Tell me an interesting fact about yourself.

I love to try new things (especially sports) and I once did a sky dive from 14,000ft, when I was travelling in Australia!

What was your favourite subject at school?

My favourite subject was Maths.  I loved Maths so much that I even studied it at university. 

If you were stranded on a desert island what one thing would you take with you?

I think I would take my snowboard with me and hope that I'm stranded on an island with huge snowy mountains - I'd have to use it to slide down the sand dunes if not.  Unless I'm allowed to take my family - then I'd take my family including our guinea pigs, Mr Fluffy and Squidge!

If you could be any animal what would you be and why?

I'd like to be a guinea pig.  I've watched my guinea pigs very closely and they get snacks whenever they 'wheek', they nap whenever they like and they get lots of fuss and attention - so I think that all sounds rather nice!
