What is your favourite book and why?

Anything by Anne Tyler. She has won lots of book awards for her stories about everyday people and their lives.

What was your favourite subject at school?

English - I loved writing.

If you were stranded on a desert island what one thing would you take with you?

Food of course - possibly just chocolate.

If you could be any animal what would you be and why?

A dolphin - to be able to move around with such freedom in the oceans must be wonderful.

If you were a character from a book who would you like to be?

Elizabeth Bennet from 'Pride and Prejudice'. I like the fact that she lives her life her way and doesn't conform to how young women were expected to live their lives.
