Year 5 Perfect Parachutes!

In Science this afternoon, Year 5 put in to practice their knowledge of air resistance by trying to build the perfect parachute!  Working in small groups, the children designed and built some fantastic parachutes using limited materials and guidance.  Each group had a standard weight but otherwise the design of the parachute was down to them.  We were able to test each group's parachute and discuss why some worked better than others.  Well done Year 5!
