Year 3's trip back to the Stone Age!

Wow! What an exciting day we had on our trip to Beaudesert! 

Year 3 had the amazing opportunity to experience life as an early human. The children had to carry out three vital jobs/skills in order to survive during the Stone Age period. They learnt how to create fires (so that they could keep warm and cook food), build shelters (to keep warm, keep predators away and for security) and archery (to hunt animals for food and shelter). 

Following on from our trip, children will be using their personal involvements to produce an information booklet. The booklet will include: instructions and explanations on how to survive during the Stone Age, create a contents page and incorporating ICT skills into the booklet too.
