Peace at Last

The children have enjoyed learning about our core text this week, Peace at Last written by Jill Murphy. 

We have worked together to retell the story using role play, edit incorrect sentences (Miss Pretty was a 'Bad Teacher') and we have even found synonyms for the word tired. The children came up with some fantastic, and more interesting, alternatives such as exhausted, weary, drained, worn out and unrested.
