How was your parents' childhood different to yours?

In class, we have been discussing what our favourite pastimes are. We have talked about what we do when we're not in school. Some of us do sports, we read, watch TV and we play on tablets or computers.

Now we want to know what our parents did when they were our age! Even better, what did our grandparents do when they were young?
