Maths
In Maths this half term, we are learning all about fractions. We will be learning to recognise and make equal parts/amounts of shapes and numbers by looking at halves, quarters and thirds. Below are some useful links to help support at home:

English
In English this half term, we will be writing a narrative that will be a twist on the traditional tale 'Little Red Riding Hood', using the book The Last Wolf by Mini Grey as our main text. We will be learning to write descriptively using expanded noun phrases as well as learning how to use commas in lists and questions to create suspense and mystery. Science
In Science this half term, our unit is called 'Animals and their Habitats' and we will be learning about the 7 life processes, where different animals and plants l and grow and what a food chain is. We will be learning and using different scientific skills such as asking and answering questions and identifying and classifying groups.

Don’t forget to read each day and complete a quiz on Accelerated Reader once you’re done. You can also work on your tables on TT Rockstars, improve your number bonds on Numbots and perfect your handwriting using “Letterjoin”.

Reading
You will have your reading book and should continue to read for 10-20 minutes a day. Once you have finished your book, you can log in to Accelerated Reader and take the test in the same way that you would in school.
